About this Guide

Plagiarism is a very serious form of cheating. You can avoid it by citing your sources.

Plagiarism is when you...

* Copy / paste from the internet without giving your source
* Let someone else write your paper for you
* Use someone else's idea without giving them credit
* Use incorrect information in your list of citations

...these are very serious offenses which will cause you to FAIL your assignment, FAIL your course, and possibly be expelled from college. No matter what, you must never plagiarize.
